Bio-bin clinical waste disposal containers are manufactured from environmentally friendly materials, yet do not compromise on worker or patient safety. Made from a paper and plastic laminate, the Bins are waterproof and feature heat-sealed joints to prevent leakage. Available in yellow (high-risk infectious waste) or orange (low-risk infectious waste) versions in line with current DoH requirements, Bio-bin containers are supplied flat-packed for convenient storage and can be assembled quickly when required. When in use, the bins can be sealed temporarily then permanently sealed for safe disposal. Orange containers are designed to be disposed of by rotoclaving or in land fill. Yellow containers should be incinerated. Each Bio-bin contains an integral Bio-matt designed to soak up liquid, turning it into a gel in minutes.
